Strategic Supply Chain Management: the Five Disciplines for Top Performance By Shoshanah Cohen, Joseph Roussel McGraw Hill Professional  Supply chain management as a field of study and practice has come a long way, though the field is over 150 years old. A book on supply chain strategy would definitely go beyond theory and also would add something very new to the collective knowledge. After reading this book, I really appreciate the authors’ depth and breadth of experience. Numerous examples are cited in it from diverse industries, explaining what is unique in their supply chains.
